Aqua Nor 2011
Successful exhibition
TelCage want to thank all visitors for an eventful week during the Aqua Nor 2011 in Trondheim.
There was great interest in our solutions, the quality and the reliability of our infrastructure, something that was confirmed by our customers.
The fact that we also could display underwater video from the cage in HD quality was very impressive. This was very well received by those who have their daily work on the locations, with the clear desire for these solutions for their own locations.
Salmar moves ahead
SalMar has focus on quality and cost-effective operation at the same time as they emphasise their will to protect the environment and ethical production.
As a natural development of a desire to promote a better supervision and control of their aquaculture sites, they now have made the choice of going a step further.
SalMar has entered into an agreement with TelCage AS to proceed with building a complete infrastructure that binds together the sites of Smøla, Halsa, Hitra and Freya, and that gives the company the opportunity to increase support and supervision at all times.
SalMar, as one of the major breeders, have chosen the SCG solution from TelCage to streamline and secure the premises in a way that is consistent with their desire to be part of new developments in aquaculture technology.

TelCage supplying world leading fishfarmers
TelCage has during the summer delivered several installations to the world leading fishfarming companies, Marine Harvest, Lerøy Seafood Group and Salmar.
The SeaCage Gateway system is used in different setups. Some run multiple fishfarms from one common landbase, others cluster multiple smaller fishfarms and run them from a larger feedbarge or a landbase in the same region. The system gives significant advantages both in everyday logistics and personell distribution, on top of the cost reduction effect.
