SCG Basic
 
SeaCage Gateway is a complete system for remote operations and monitoring for the aquaculture industry. SCG enables you to remotely operate and monitor all operational routines used at the aquaculture site from land or another site.


TelCage builds and delivers a complete communications infrastructure connecting the aquaculture site to the Operations Centre on land or another site. The SCG digital infrastructure enables the transfer of large volumes of data from Feed Barge to the Operation Centre, such as video images, sensory data as well access to the feed application. At the Operation Centre we apply the by TelCage developed software, enabling the display of all the information gathered from the Feed Barge.. This allows an operator to remotely run the operations of one or more sites from the Operations Centre, using the SCG Control Panel. This Operations Centre can be located tens of kilometres away from the aquaculture sites. SCG Basic is the basic level for all products and services provided by TelCage and is set up by the following components:
SCG Control Panel
 
SCG Control Panel is the software to be installed at the Operations Centre and allows the presentation and use of all data from the Feed Barge or other sites on monitors.
 
Through SCG Control Panel you are able to access the following:
- Feeding applications
- Camera systems on Feed Barge and cage.
- Sensory data from sensors located at the location/site.
- multiple simultaneous digital video transfers from site to Operations Centre.
 
The user interface can be adapted and displayed on multiple monitors if needed.
 
TelCage supplies and delivers all necessary components to the system.
Service and monitoring
 
SCG Basic is supplied as a fully serviced IT- and communications application where TelCage is responsible for delivering, monitoring and operating all functions at all time. TelCage has an automatic monitoring of the total communication structure, delivering alarms if errors or faults do occur. The service is delivered with a run-time warranty on remote access to all central operations and data.  A “back-door”  operations system is also installed to increase the error corrections ability.
Integration
 
The installation of SCG Basic allows the use of existing instruments, sensory and camera operations on the sites. There is no need to reinvest in new instruments, sensory or camera systems unless an increase in functionality on the site is needed.
 
As a client and customer you choose what functions and sensory that are to be used as in-feed to SCG Basic and what to be used towards other systems.
